PTS/FMS3 is a one-year school called Pre-Vocational school (9th grade), the last year of compulsory education in Austria. Our students are between 14 and 16 years old. We support them in preparing for their future education and careers.
Our school has 13 classes, including two inclusion classes and one perspective class. We believe that diversity is a strength and we create a respectful and supportive learning environment for everyone.
A special feature of our school is the connection between theory and practice. Each student chooses a vocational field. One day per week, they learn both, practical and theoretical skills in this field.
We also offer:
- vocational projects
- excursions
- work experience days (career orientation in real companies)
In addition, students learn how to write CVs and practice job interviews. This helps them to start their professional life with confidence.
We are part of the European programme Erasmus+, which allows us to work together with schools across Europe.
